What would you guys say this car is worth? its a 2000 ws6, white, A4. Looks to be in "Good" condition. Needs rear shocks & speakers. It has the $4000 SLP "400HP" package which is basically a full SLP exhaust, cold air & predator tune. Its got 126,000 on it. Ebony Interior. Everything works on the car. He's asking 10,000

I'm glad that $10,000 is an asking price because if anyone pays over $7,000 it would be a mistake with those 126,000 miles on the car, along with the stated issues, and who knows what else. That car is going to to need things. There is no way around it, and having big $$ in a car like that is something I would never recommend unless the car was a mostly highway miles car with one or two owners. If someone paid about $7,000 that would leave room for repairs, etc.. Having $8,000, maybe $9,000 into it hopefully would be OK but anything over that is just to much of a risk. Imagine paying his $10k asking price and still needing a few grand to fix things up. OMG!! What a huge investment in a car that you could barely sell for $7,000 if the need arose.

I was right on then, my original offer to him was $7000 and he said no to that but he did say he was negotiable on the price. I started thinking maybe $8000 and sell off the SLP stuff to offset the cost.

KBB says $8100 in good condition for that car.

thanks for your input!
