has anyone had trouble with msd wires??
just bought msd 8.5mm wires for my 2000 z28, and im not 100% if i am putting them on correctly, i know this sounds silly but when i had my stock gm ones you would hear a distinctive "click" on both ends so that way you know they are on there, my msd wires barely click and some of them wont click on to the plugs or coils at all. has any one had similar issues or know if the msd wires have to click in order to be installed correctly?

I had msd's on my car and when I went to go get it tuned my tuner said those are one of the worst wires for the lsx motors. He took his stock wires off his car and tuned it with them then put my msd back on and the car did not perform as well. So I just run the stock wires

Many of us have had great success with them, myself included. I don't always hear a click, but no worries - no misfires. The bendable boots make them great with LT's. Mine have been on my car for a long time - through one spark plug change - and have always worked great.
