GTO Quarter Panel replacement. Widebody Fail. The previous owner of this 04 gto decided that he wanted wider wheels. So he took a grinder and a sledge and cut the quarter panel wheel opening to make it bigger. Probably so the wheel could stick outside of it and not hit it. Stance nation shiznit.
I have an 06 donor gto with quarters. How do I get them off?
Can I even do it?
Or do i need to have a body guy do it.
How much should I be paying for the panel swap?

If you have to ask how to replace quarter panels, then its beyond your skill level. Lots of grinding, cutting, test fitting and welded. On top of that you'll have to trim the recy quarters so they can be reused.
Have a pro do it, looking at about 15 labor hours per side plus trim time.

Pics! I took off the disgusting universal fiberglass flares for my sanity.
So for your amusement I used some scotch tape to mock them in place.
I lined up the rivet holes exactly. This is exactly where they were installed.

I wish I got to see the wheels and tires but he sold em to some BMW guy separately before I saw them.
