point me in the right direction
building a turbo 408. parts include so far:
gm 6.0 block bored .030 over zero decked
callies compstar 4" forged crank
callies compstar h beam rods 6.125"
weisco forged pistons. (unsure dish size as of yet have not purchased)
stock 6.0 317 heads with upgraded dual prc springs milled .005 to true them up
arp main studs
arp head studs
gm ls9 head gaskets at .051 compressd
tsp hardened push rods 7.4"
ls7 lifters
looking to turbo this motor with a mid mount single 88mm with .96 ar
not sure if this is the correct turbo to get me to 800-1000 whp
here are the cams i have found: not sure whats best for a m6 4000lb truck
tick performance 230/230 .60x .60x on 115+4 lsa
speed inc tu2 236/236 .578 .578 112.5 lsa
or a virginia speed vtc4 unsure of specs
this will be a street truck and will see track 2-3 times a year. mostly street racing. would like a choppy idle as thats what im use to with my current cam. but dont want to lose bottom end tq and dont want bad turbo lag. would like turbo to start coming in around 2500

Probably a little on the small side if that is the old school one with the kind of small turbine and housing. It would boost quite fast, but probably choke up a tad up top. If you are wanting to close in on 1000 hp, you will be approaching the limits of a t4 housing as well.
