Default Questions about choosing a stall for an LT1

What do u guys think of the vig 3200 for an LT1. the car will probably have all the bolt on's and a h/c package like within 2 months but do you guys think that this coverter will work? or should I get the 2800? I heard that the 3200 is too big and it won't allow the tranny to shift in time due to the obd1 pcm? is this true? there is also 2 local cars here with that stall and they both fried their trannies? what do you guys think? go 3200 w/ tranny cooler and deep pan? does it need tuning or is it just to big?

I've also heard that they have trouble shifting with a large converter. No matter which converter you get you'll want a cooler and a temp gauge. Maybe even a pan if you have the extra money.

B&M also makes a 24,000 gvw cooler. I only paid like $4 more for it than what the 19,000 costs
