Default Cheapest 1000 hp 6speed Trans

Looking to up grade or replace my trans for as cheap as possible to withstand 1000hp(im a diehard manual guy). Is it better to get another type of transmission or what are my options? Im sorry if this topic has already been brough up but ive researched alot and havent found anything.

Haha I really wanna stick to stick. Something around $2-3k would be awesome. Just everything that Ive seen is $5k and thats pushing it for me. Im not at 1,000 yet but Im doing all the supporting mods before slappin a turbo or procharger on there. I could probly put the parts together if I got a kit too?

^^^^ and after that, my next choice would be to look for a manual F-450 or fire truck in the bone yard.

Tick performance here. I have their level 5 SuperMagnum TR6060. I am making a 1000 rwhp. I chose Tick because for the same money as another sponsor here you get more. Like the cryo treating or polishing (one or the other) is part of the level 5 Tick but costs extra on others.
And for the record there is no comparison between how these TR6060's shift and the stock T56. The T56 is a granny gear 4 speed next a built TR6060.

I'm actually planning on picking one up from tick before spring if I can ever finish my build. Aiming for over 1000hp as well.

Good luck. These builds take forever it seems. Don't be a weak minded person and give up like so many do.

If you can afford $3K go with a T56 Magnum (TR6060 based) and never look back.

As stated the shifting smoothness is no comparison. Already has a 31 spline output shaft, all gears/shafts made of a stronger material vs. the older T56's, larger bearings to handle more load, thicker case casting to help with deflection.

That "low" 700hp rating is in a 4500lb car launching on slicks without failure.
Says it on the Tremec website.

In car that weighs 1000lbs less you can bet it can hold a ton more power. I've seen these in 1000rwhp+ cars. Nothing is unbreakable.... but they are better than a Stage2 Fbody T56 with an upgraded mainshaft (30 spline Viper). They simply shift better too due to its newer design.

What vehicle, what weight, what application, what usage, where is the 1000hp coming from ?

Cheapest, bog standard T56 and wait til it fails.
