17's are a lot harder to find. Of course cheap wheels and road race speed's dont go together typically. Maybe try the TSW Max, similar style wheel, 17x9 20mm offset versions available. Or stay looking in the FS section for a used set of Fikse's...typically $1500-$2000 with tyres

For track duty you want a PROVEN wheel, that cheap aftermarket crap will get you in trouble. Brake dust and hot metal from the brakes will ruin a nice set of wheels on track.

Buy cosmetically challenged ZR1's or C5 Z06 fronts and paint them black, buy GM wheels.

When a wheel fails on course it's UGLY.

Not bad, I like the ZR1 or C5 Z06 wheel better though the way the spoke is connected to the rim.

I curse this 5X4.75 bolt pattern daily;http://www.cosmisusa.com/shop/s5r-black/

If I hadnt just became a weld dealer I'd seriously get some 5X4.5 axles and drill a new lug pattern up front.

Some wheels might resemble them in a photo from a distance, but in person nothing will compare to the real thing. Like someone mentioned look for some used ones. Somtimes you can save $1500 verses buying new.

Why are you cursing the 5x4.75" bolt pattern?

GM has been using this pattern, on MILLIONS of cars since the 50s, LONG before the other patterns came into being....

I have a set of the LG world challenge rims along with a brand new spare. I had a machinist make center caps because the original ones kept falling out.
I have painted the centers a darker grey then the original colour. 4 are mounted with Toyo RA1 rubber with very little wear. There are scratches on the outer lips from the first shop I took them to have tires mounted. This are very difficult rims to mount because they have such a high lip.
I have thought about selling them, if you are interested send me your email and I will take pics.
