Default Spal Fan people in here.....

So I have a 16'' Spal Extreme with a shroud.

I heard someone say that I may have to put some sort of relay on it for fan speed or something for my 02 ws6.

Does this have any merit? I figure the thing would hit the set temp and kick the fan on full blast.

Is there more to wiring this thing up than just splicing it in to factory wiring?

I would think the factory fan relay and wiring should do the job.

I wired mine into the factory harness. No problems what so ever with overheating during the summer, when I was procharged.

The wiring on the fan should be just on/off,just splice the factory wires onto the fan and you should be ok.
