Default Where to find pcm connector pins

Where would i be able to find the pcm pin connectors? There are a few wires in my harness that are 2 short and like to put a new long wire in its place instead of splicing wires together.

Which ECM?

eficonnection . com makes it pretty easy to find connectors & pins, but many of them require a proper crimping tool which is rather expensive. I bought some service/repair crimpers off ebay to do my crimps. Each type of terminal can require a different type of crimper. You can find the pins a bit cheaper on mouser . com.

I needed 2 pins once, and I just went to a junk yard, cut off a handfull of wires from a pcm harness, and pushed the pins out of the connector...
took them home, soldered the short wire I got from the junkyard to a longer one, added some shrink wrap, and cut the newly extended wire to the length I needed

worked great...simple and easy, no need for a crimp tool

On a related note, how do you remove the pins from an E38 PCM connector?

Push the pins in, pry the retention tab back slightly with a small (glasses repair size) screwdriver, then pull the pins out. It's not very hard. You will probably figure it out after examining the connector. You do have to remove the covers first.

That's what I thought at first, but they don't come apart like the older red/blue connectors I'm used to.

It's an 08 LY6 if that matters.
