Coming home from work, I noticed the oil pressure gauge was maxed. I restarted the car a few times to see if that would help, but nothing.
Any ideas???
Thanks,
Jason

More than likely it is nothing to worry about.... It is probably a bad oil pressure sender. They are a pita to replace, because if you don't do it carefully they will break easily.. My dealer found out when they had to replace it 3 times on my car in one month....

I assume the pressure is stuck even when the car is off or when the key is turned without the engine running(elec power to the car)? Look in the owner's manual to see if there is a DIC message for high oil pressure. If your not getting one, I would guess you are alright. ANother thing would be to check the codes. There is a good chance the problem would show up in the codes since it is an electrical problem(P0522 and P0523). If you unfamiliar with this procedure, go to the website below and it will explain it for you.

It actually is not stuck when the car is off...someone suggested it might be the sending unit in back of the intake and to get it fixed quick, bscause it will mess with the pcv system. The car seems to be a little sluggish...could that be related??
Here is what I was told:
