Project is a 78 Malibu wagon, as for fuel sender I have 2 options run one out of a Grand national and modify it to sit deeper in the wagon tank or run one out of a astro van and just cut the locating tabs off to face it towards the front of the car. Any one go down this road before? Any input or opinions are welcome. Thanks

Run a line into whatever tank will slosh fuel into the pickup and run a external pump. That's me though.

Id just find out which one moves the most fuel, probably the Grans Nat, and do what it takes to make it fit. Then run like the wind, bullseye.
