new member I'm a street rodder with a 36 Nash. It had a 96 Formula Firebird LT 1 and a 4L60E trans. I got a lot of info from this website and it now has an '03 5.3L truck motor installed with factory computer.The LT1 fuel pump works just fine. My friend did the install and he will adapt the shifter position switch from the newer style trans to my older one. Right now I'm getting 18mpg with a 4000# car and a 3.73 rear gear.
