Default 2000 Firehawk Trans am 96k miles

I have the opportunity to pick up a 2000 Trans Am Firehawk, fresh black paint with 96k miles. 6-speed and silver painted hawk rims. the only thing is that it has a rebuilt title due to the rear quarter being hit and repaired 5 years ago.

I just picked up a clean title 2000 T/A Firehawk with 85,000 miles, 6 speed and all options for $10,000. In your case, any collector value the car once had is null and void with a rebuilt title and almost 100,000 miles. Honestly, I would steer clear unless you can get it for $6000 tops, and that is assuming it needs no money put into it immediately, i.e, tires, brakes, etc. Any future resale on that could prove to be tough so keep that in mind.

So 4500 with a extra set of wheels isn't too bad then? Forgot it has a spec stage 2 and aluminum flywheel 2 mos old. The extra set is black and chrome c5 dd with good tires

Excellent advice from both GimmeLSx & ramair 1. Agree 100%.
If you can pick it up for that $4,500 you posted about, then it might be worth the gamble. Still many questions. Even at $4,500 you don't need to buy a 'money pit'.
