Ok I have a 95 z28 and just tried the a/c for the first time this year last night. Just blew warm air. Compressor never engaged. I reset the pcm due to the low freon sensor and the compressor kicked on. Now before I reset the cpm, i checked the low side valve, (closest to the firewall) and when the compressor was NOT working it read 100psi. Now once I did the reset and compressor turned on it read 10psi. I put 1 can on freon in and it brought it up to 40psi roughly. Started to blow cooler air, still not ice cold. Now heres the kicker, the compressor is steady on now. As in it does not cycle and the clutch kick on and off. Steady spinning. Also, all the lines are still hot to the touch. none of the a/c lines are cold or condensating like my silverado does. Im lost. Help please guys. And not sure if its worth anything but the car only has 60k miles. So it may have sat for quite some time at one point in its life.
