Default Magnaflow #12267 Muffler who's running them?

I've been trying to find a good muffler to go on my 99 SS. As of now my car is 100% stock beside a SLP lid. I like the way the factory exhaust sounds now but looking for a deeper/ slightly louder exhaust without being crazy loud like the loudmouths and def do not want the drone. Will this exhaust suit me? I had a magnaflow exhaust on my 2000 C5 and really liked the way it sounded. Does anybody have any good quality videos of this muffler on their car that doesn't have LT Cam etc so I can get a good idea how it will sound?

Is $112 shipped about the cheapest you can buy one?

Thanks,
Derek

Car will make more power with a single in/out muffler with a single tip under the drivers rear bumper

Imo my lm1 on my car when it was stock sounded great, wasnt loud, had a good rumble and never was a spot when it sounded bad,imo magnaflow is great but not a fan of the fbody catbacks, now duals sound great with mf,imo it really depends on the mods you plan to do down the road, magnaflow makes good stuff though,i just think there are way better sounding catbacks, imo the best budget catback is a magnamouth/borlamouth,but still on a bone stock f body lm1 sounds killer

Thanks Bob! I've considered the LM1 but can't seem to find many good videos of the lm1 on stock ls1 cars. Don't really plan to do many engine mods to the car if any.

Exactly. Even lm1 with long tubes and cats sounds clean. Its after you remove the cats and install a cam is when things start to get out of control. The rasp you get with the lm1 resonator is out of control.

I am running this exact muffler with LT and a catted Y. No rasp at all and is very tame, but it can also scream when I need it to. I also have a mild blower cam, nothing radical, but for me, it is very nice sounding
