Default What paint to use on ls1 intake?

I want to paint my ls1 intake and wonder if I can use just regular spray paint or do I need to use heat resistant paint on it?

You can use regular spray paint because the intake doesn't get that hot. There are tons of threads about this, plus if you search, there are several that give step by step instructions on how to do it right and dictate what supplies you'll need.

I sprayed mine with satin black Krylon. Not even the fusion stuff...just regular old spray paint. No primer, no sanding, no prep other than a degreaser bath.

Regular paint will be more than enough.

I like to use Dupli-Color Engine Enamel paint in the engine compartment.
