Default Circle D 1e or 2e (anyone running them)

Wanted to know if anyone is running these bc I am highly considering them in my daily driver but I cant find much info on them. If you are please let me know how you feel about them or if you would recomend them. It will either be one of these 2 or a FTI3600. It is my daily and I do more roll racing than I do from a dig.

Thank you

I am a huge fan of the 2E. It wins us races, but with that being said, it's not ideal for everyone. If a tighter feeling converter is wanted, then a 1E or 4C would be my choice.

Ive never driven a stalled car before and im unaware of how "loose" it really is I think. Would you say the 1e would be a better dd than the 2e? Or if I didnt go with the 2e I feel like I should jist go with the fti 3600.. no?

Again, it's a personal preference. I would personally choose the 2E, but I've had many different converters and like them a little loose even in my daily driver. Based on the info you shared via PM, I'd lean towards the 1E since fuel economy seems to be a slight concern.

I can't comment on the FTI 3600 since I have no experience with them.

Would I be giving up a good amount of power though? would cthe 2mpg loss be worth getting the 2e over the 1e?

Only way to know is to try it! If you're concerned the 2e is too much get the 1e and know you have a free stall change if you want more down the road

I think im just gonna go with the 2e. Easier on the 10 bolt with over 100 I on it and easier on my tires. I hope it impresses me more than I think it will!!

The 1e is GREAT on the street. The 2e is probably fine too but you have to have tires for traction. I have the 1e and its no problem at all on the street with my 3.23s. Pulls like mad up top too. Gas mileage hasnt suffered much either vs the 3200 but performance is night and day. As long as you have a lockup trans and lock it early gas mileage is not bad at all. Traction is!

what stall is the 1e? The 2e is 4k-4200 correct? And u say I will need to run some sticky tires with the 2e over the 1e? I daily.drive mine and so im just hoping the 2e isnt too weord for me to get used to coming from never driving a stalled auto. I was thinking about going with the 1e but I think I will kick myself if I dont get the 2e..

You will need tires for either one. No traction without DRs with those converters. For DD I would go 1e or one of their 4c ==5c 3600. You will not be dissapointed but for traction you need tires and DRs dont last long Daily driving them around and in the rain they do not perform like true street tires. Things to remember. I think 1e is 4k.

Do you happen to know how much the 1e dropped your 1/4?

Ya that is true about DR's and I can see myself going sideways in the rain more often than I think lol. If the 1e is a 4k stall I might go with that. I was under the impression that the 2e was a 4-4200 stall speed.

I just had my SS3600 turned into a 2E. I'm waiting for my trans to be rebuilt then I'll have a review. I'm just undecided if I want to go with a local builder or pays a lot more with a sponsor on here....

Im in the same boat. I just ordered my 2e today and I was gonna go with a trans from a sponsor but apparently the guy I am having rebuild my trans is pretty reputable. I contacted flt by phone and email and didnt get a reply back. Other wise i probably would have went with their trans but i already had an appointment set up with my trans guy and i didnt want to bail on him. It would probably cost an arm and a leg to get the trans shipped to my door lol. Im paying $1, 700 for my rebuild plus $250 to have it removed and installed. Then I still need to get a trans cooler...

A local guy who's Dad rebuild 4L60s has a H/C/I 150 shot Fbody that run a rebuilt trans by his Dad and it has lived pretty well behind his combo. I just get scared I'm making the wrong choice because it's a local build and a lot of guys have issues. We'll see how it works out lol
