Default Starting Problem

Ok I took and wiring harness and made it a standalone I got the car to and everything but in order to start it I have to bump the starter a little at a time, If I try to crank the motor over it will backfire out the exhaust, I had it tuned and he could see anything weird when he was tuning it, Does anyone have any ideas on what I should be looking for ot what I should try. Thanks

Are you saying that the car does start, and run successfully, by only bumping the starter? Does the car start EVERY time you bump the starter?
When you crank the engine, do you only get backfire...no other results?
I want to be clear on your comments.

Yea if I just crank the motor over and hold the key it will backfire but if I bump the key quickly it will fire up and run like a champ, its just the cranking part and the backfire is what I'm stumped about.

Sound like you are having an issue with your cranking volts cutting in and out. Make sure you have 12 volts the whole time while you are cranking going to the pcm. Might not be the problem but pretty easy to check.
