Default 4.8 turbo’d or 5.3 turbo’d

I will be installing a vortec engine in my vehicle. It is my daily driver so I’m trying to squeeze out as much as possible for MPGs. However, it is going into a 1969 GTO and I want some horse power when I hit it. I was planning on a 5.3 with about 10PSI of boost. I will use an LS6 inake and 76mm turbo. I have a Tremec TKO 500 transmission with a 3.55 rear end. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Lets add a 6.0 to the options. I would go with a 5.3 between the 2 posted, more displacement, area under the curve

I originally was going to do a N/A 6.O, but decided to do with the 5.3 turbo’d instead since it will have better gas mileage as my daily driver. Using the same theory, shouldn’t the 4.8 turbo’d get better mileage than the 5.3 turbo’d ? Or is it to small of an engine for my GTO, so it would have to work harder, no MPG change?
