Has anyone shipped a gas tank? I know they've been sold, but were they local sales or were they shipped?

What's the best way, and legal way to ship them? It's coming out of a 2001 T/A so I assume it's plastic.

Does anyone know the weight and dimensions of the tanks?

Yeah, in the general section, but I never got an answer on the weight and size. I wanted to get that info so I could get a quote on the shipping for the guy who wants it. I don't want to pull the tank unless the guy is willing to buy it at the quoted price.

Cant remember exact size but the box was like 33Lx14Hx28W and think it was close to 40lbs ............hope this helps you out.
