Default Turn key LT1 f body turbo systems, whos interested???

Hey Fellas,

Been getting a lot of demand from people about turn key budget friendly turbo systems for LT1 f bodies . . . i have a donor car on its way for a few customers that want them, but have been scoping the internet for them and i have only found one good system.

Need to know what kind of a demand there is, whats needed to make this kit worth getting.

retain a/c, P/S, air pump, stuff like that??

you tell me, if there is a demand i will start creating them, also might start doing cts-v, gto, g8, and c5 vettes.

any input is much appreciated

Big question most will have is estimated cost. You may want to offer the stock shortblocks capable of running 9s in the right combo as well.

not sure about POS builds, ill supply any turbo you want, any gate or bov you want, and the hot pipes and cold pipes with intercooler.

as for price it will depend on what accessories are kept. obviously, if you have only an alternator down low there is much more room for bigger stuff than one that is going in a stock car.

i can build any setup you want if you want a custom setup, i can replicate my setup and supply everything needed to go 9's with the correct combo and stock motor.

you tell me what you want and ill fab it up.

but for starters, ill be starting with stock cars, it will have tubular manifolds, and recirculated gate, front mount to stock TB.

the system will work with a/c, p/s, air pump, slap it in a stock car and go, and ill make sure the same system will support 450hp or so to 800rwhp depending on turbo and engine combo.

after that, if you want big hp for street or a solid drag setup just PM me and ill get something going with you.

im working on starting price right now so stay tuned, i should have a starting price by tonight.

well im thinking a full kit, hot side, turbo, gate, IC, cold piping, bov around 3500 to 4000 depending on turbo size.

if the non name brand turbos are something that DOESNT interest you i can get any brand turbo you would like. but if your budget doesnt allow it, the cheaper turbos work great, i use them a lot and have no issues, and i can rebuild them for free, when the time comes they need it. I currently run there new 80mm gt4508R and it works like a charm.

if the 3500 to 4000$ range works for you PM me so i can see what kind of a demand i am looking at, and if you would like any custom setups, schedule materials, stuff like that, ill be more than happy to talk to you about it and get a turbo system in th works for you.

ALSO, i will not be using thin cheap grade materials, it will be mild steel schedule, it will last, wont crack and will be able to hold a decently sized turbo.

if you want schedule 10 stainless or schedule 40 if your trying to hang a single 91mm or bigger then just PM me and we can get something going.

I want to turbo my car eventually, after seeing a T76 LT1 turbo on youtube... that sound is amazing, and the power was awesome. Obviously I wouldn't make that much power...

I'd like to retain my A/C and P/S on my car... IDC about AIR/EGR though. I'd be interested in a kit at some point in my life

Make at least one for the people that want to keep their a/c and the one for people that don't want to. Then a bare bones hot parts setup. If they want custom fab work then they need a custom fab price. Honestly it will have to be a reasonable price, but don't short yourself too much.

Whats the warranty going to be?

Lead time on kits?

Will the 9sec pass guarantee be requiring of running race fuel or does this apply to street cars as well?

I think it's great that the LT guys may have an option for turbo kits, but advertising on this site is not free. OP you may want to speak with IB about becoming a sponsor before your thread gets shut down.

Just FYI.

i will be making these kits to just bolt in and go, no fab work needed, you will have to relocate air pump EGR stuff but thats about it.

Martin@Tick, thanks for the heads up ill get in contact.
