Default Turbo action cheetah shifter

Can anyone post pics of one installed or some kind of write up, I attempted to install it tonight and it seems like the abs sensor would get in the way, I have an 00' ss with a th400. Thanks in advance!

I meant air bag sensor under the armrest.

I have tried searching for this but it seems the threads are all old and i cant find many pictures of them installed without the console on, just need help figuring out how to mount it so the console will work with it.

If I remember right, I think I made a steel bracket that comes off the back of the shifter and mounted it to the tunnel behind the shifter. So the shifter body cantilevers above the sensor. But I'd have to look to be sure.

did you trim the consoloe at all? it looks like the plastic piece underneath would get in the way from the cable bracket part of the shifter.

I don't remember having to trim the console except where the shifter body goes thru. But it has been years since I installed it so I could be mistaken.

Can you remove that long bracket? I am thinking that would be the only way to make it fit.

What long bracket? the one on the bottom of the shifter? If so, I left it right where it was. I can get you pics on thursday.

Yes, the bracket on the bottom of the shifter that holds the cable, I can't seem to figure out how to mount this shifter for a clean install.
