Default 6.0 build questions

Okay so I have a bolt on 2000 z28 a4 with 200,000 miles and she's wore out.
So I'm wanting to do a lq9 swap. I want to make 400hp to the wheels, I also plan to add a 100-150 shot. I have a few questions.

Can I do that with the stock 317 heads( Ill use my ported ls6 intake)? Or should I swap to an ls3 top end?

I'm thinking vrx 4. But open to suggestion on cams

what all will I need to swap this motor to my Camaro?

And this car will be a weekend cruiser/ Friday night street fighter.
So I want it to be some what street able.

Thanks for you advice.
Justin

You can definitely get there with the 317s and a good cam, although I would still use the ported LS6 heads for more airflow, compression (which nitrous loves) and lightweight valves.

Thought you already had the ported LS6 heads? A good port job on the 317s is going to cost you $700+, the same for an LS6 head.

If budget is tight, you can just do a basic valve job and milling on the 317s.

Really looking forward to the explanation of this...
'cause I know you're not driving my ex-wife, loose bores, leaky seals, etc., likes to swap drivers often, she's not the one you want...
