Default Prothane or Energy Motor Mounts??

Which motor mount is better or recommended more than the other? or does it even matter?

Thanks

I'm not sure it even matters; however, I personally prefer that one can buy the engine/transmission mount combo from Prothane. It's only $75 from WS6Store to boot.

Thanks demonspeed. The sticky also mentions Prothane but that was back in 2006. Just wondering if anything has changed for the better or worse.
Keep it coming.

On my ws6 I had Prothane motor mounts and an Energy Suspension transmission mount. Both worked just fine.

I have energy suspension mounts and I like them... Yeah they don't have the alignment tabs, but they aligned perfect.
Only pic I have of the mounts...

I have or had (dont remember what I did with them) a set of ES motor mounts (I beta tested them) and it seemed that they were just softer than prothane and stiffer than stock. The prothanes never did me wrong, so I stayed with them. Either way, you'll be ok. Just get the cheaper set or the set that comes in a combo you need.

I ordered the ES from WS6Store and asked Mike if I could swap out to Prothane before he shipped if he thought it was worth the upgrade. He did and swapped em out for no charge. So, I'll say Prothane is the way to go.
