Default Proform 650 race carb

Has anyone run a Holley 4150 style proform chokeless double pumper on a 5.3/5.7? Stock jets are primary 72/ secondary 80...just figured I'd ask since I just picked up this carb for free since I was running a vacuum 4160 750 Holley on my 10:1 L33 5.3 with performer intake and stock ls1 corvette cam..

Should run fantastic. If you have a wide band you can dial it in.

Forgot to ask zone, but I meant to ask what you thought about the mechanical secondary carb on a ~3100 lb camaro, with 4 speed manual, and open 2.73 rear? I've always thought that your car had to be light/manual trans/steep rear gear(3.42-up numerically) to run a mech secondary carb, and basically I only have 1 of the 3 lol..I'm goin to try it either way, but what's your experience been like with the mech secondaries?

Would be ok driving normal, being smaller than a 750 it may work better than you expect. But the gearing is the real issue. Would be a great idea to upgrade for many reasons.

I have a 750 DP on my 3400 pound TA with a 5.3. The converter only foot brakes 2000 and it has 4.30s, but it does great at the weight it has.
