Default lowering springs quick question

Ok, I was at work and called on some eibach lowering springs and they said they only show 03-07 ctv with the v6 in it.. will those work or do I need to look into the other brand everyone is running?

From what I have seen on here, eibachs are junk and ride like crap. I have no experience with them on the V but thats what I read. Most people run the H&Rs or the ground control for springs only. I just bought H&Rs myself. I should be getting them tomorrow so I have no feedback. And make sure you get spacers.

H&R with the Mighty Mouse spacer kit. I have been on that for over a year now and love it!

What is the spring rate for stock springs vs the H&R sport springs?

There are different springs for the CTS vs. the CTSV. The weights of the respective vehicles are different and thus the springs required are different. Lowering springs (H&R and Eibach) for the CTSV are hard to find, and are not regularly in stock items at performance parts stores.

I agree that HR's are the better option but be very aware that they WILL drop you significantly more than advertised!
