Default New TNT F1 sometimes stumbles when I first spray?

So I installed a TNT F1 at the begining of last week. I got it up and running and pulled diagnostics with my Predator and everything looks great spraying. But, sometimes when I first spray, the car stumbles alittle and it's not a solid hit. Today I noticed that the car was smoking while this is happening (maybe for 1-1.5 seconds) and now I'm getting concerned. Hard to tell the color of the smoke from inside the car but it was dust colored to me, wasn't a deffinate white, blue or black. I sprayed two more times tonight after that, solid hit, no smoke, O2s where dead at .890 through the whole run, no KR, FP was a solid 55psi. The only I can think of (and am hoping) is that the car goes rich for a second because my purge is located about 4' in front of the N2O solenoid. Again this only seems to happen the first time I spray and I can spray several times after that without it happening (like over the course of several hours). Sorry for the long post.

Sounds like the same thing that is happening with the NXL kits but you said your FP was a solid 55? Do you have a rail mounted FP guage? I would guess you are losing fuel pressure for a split second then getting it back. But then again I dont even know if the F1 is a wet or dry kit but the symptoms are the same.

The F1 is a wet set up. My FP sender is right at the end of the rail just befor my FPSS. What about this NX fuel resvoir that was supposed to hit the market. Did it ever come out, and if the car is losing FP on the intitial hit would it help?

I think you need your purge closer to the noid. I'm guessing you're getting the air from the 4' in between the two.

890 seems a tad on the lean side to me. That's in the 13:1 range. I'd shoot for 950-1000 which should be closer to 12.5:1. Don't think this is causing your stumbling problem though. I don't see the purge being 4" away from the N2O noid being a problem. How long is the run from the N2O noid to the fogger?

I would say it is a lean stumble also. .890 is a little lean for my car on motor.I wouldn't spray that lean.

More than likely what you're experiencing is the fuel pressure dropping, triggering the FPSS, and then once the pressure recovers the kit activates again. Happens pretty quickly..

is it 4' or 4"? that's quite a differance. The fuel pressue is a possibility too but I'd think it would do that all the time and not just the first time.

Like the other guys said! 890 is too lean. That system makes more power with more fuel.

I've seen many times that it goes lean for a split second then takes off.I alway's run controllers to soften the ignitial hit. Also .890 is way too lean for Nitrous, atleast on my scanner that would be 13-1.I try to tune nitrous for 11.5-1 while spraying.

The purge is 4' feet away and not 4" which I could see creating a problem. I'm pretty sure that the FPSS is not being triggered, I've felt that in the past and it will cause the car to surge but not fall on it's face like it is, plus it's set at around 45 psi. If the car is going super lean for a second wouldn't it start to detonate, I'm running close to 27* of timming? I do have a brand new LM1 wideband and I put an O2 bung in my new true duals but I have had no time to install my Jet Hots and true duals. Lastly, if the car was going lean for a second, why wouldn't it being doing this consistanly every time I spray?

Well, I went out and did a couple more runs this afternoon. I decided to spray at 850psi instead of 1050 to keep things on the safe side. First pass was a very short run, on the initial hit the car really didn't stumble or bog that bad, the O2's where .890+ and again the FP never fell below 55-56 PSI even when I first hit it. Second run was from a 60mph roll, the O2's dipped into the .870s and then went to .910 and climbing, at that point my Predator **** the bed completly and I've about had it with this product. Since that happened I'm not so sure I can trust the Predators data, I'm currently still running my dry nitrous tune from last year. Generally, my O2's would run .910-.915 N/A, as of late it has been reading .885 N/A and I have not touched the tune. Guess it's time to get the LM-1 up and running.

Note: I just pulled a few random plugs. All where light brown kind of dusty looking, electrode is still fully intact and clean. The plugs do have some kind of deposits on them, it's only on the insulator, same color as the rest of the plug and is baked on. I tried to get a pic but they kept coming out blurry. Any thoughts.
