Default 6.0L fuel pressure regulators?

a buddy just told me that the 6.0's have them in the fuel rails. is this true? im swapping a 6.o into my 80 bu and it would save me a chunk of change if so. any info is much appreciated!

The "regulator" on the fuel rail is not a regulator. It is a pulse damper.

Got a pic? LS1 rails have a dampener. Early truck rails have a regulator and return line. Later trucks used returnless with PWM pump regulation.

its out of an 05 sheriff van and it has a return line ill post a pic tomoro when I get out in the garage. thank you

If it has a return style rail then it will have a regulator on it. The give away is the vacuum line on it.

The vacuum line is the easy way to tell the difference in the damper and regulator. If it's got a vacuum line connection, it's a regulator.
