not bad at all. i was surprised that it baselined at 358. i wasnt expecting that high. it was a little lean. so we corrected the a/f smoothed the curve out a little and got the timing right with no knock. even though we are only talking 8hp it seems to drive so much better. i want to go find this new 5.0 mustang with some bolt ons that put a length or 2 on me yesterday and have a rematch.

These cars run better than what most poeple think they do. From a roll with boltons i think i could give a 5.0 fits lol

I think mine put down the exact same hp with kooks and high flow cats. Even cammed it wont touch an intake/tune 5.0 just fyi.

Most certainly not from a dig, from a roll it will depend on the cam and driver...

Intake and tune 5.0s keep up with me...and most of you cam only V1 guys couldn't keep up with a intake/tune V2.

My brother had no issue putting 3 cars on me from a roll with intake/tune/midpipe. They are soplid 117mph cars with those mods. Cam only V1s arent touching that.

V2s are to heavy iv'e ran plenty of bolt on 5.0s in my Stock 2010 GT500 never had one keep up with me from a roll. Maybe my truck motor ls2 will have a better shot after i do heads and cam on it.

yeah I was looking around and those 5.o's get to 475 wheel hp pretty ******* easy. I am not saying they all have that but for an intake, TB, exhaust, tune boom! but I am still a GM guy for life.

I think there both great cars. But i like having more room in my car. Also think most younger guys think the new 5.0 can beat anything they come up against.

Where did you get your tune done? I am going to be in need of a tune in the near future.

I like what I see!

I'll be putting mine on the rollers friday night.

I was able to *kinda* keep up with a STOCK 5.0 from a roll... damned thing was inching me though Dunno if it was stick or auto, but I hate that they're finally faster than a V, and cheaper than a V2!

Even the V6 mustangs are getting pretty damned quick

This was my V from about a 40 roll against a 2012 5.0 Mustang with a catback. Quite a smoke show, but still put a couple cars on him.
