Pulled FAST apart, oil in rear of intake. Well, I pulled my 78 off to port it, and after pulling the top shell off, I found what I deem to be a significant amount of oil toward the rear of the intake. I'm running a norris can and ls6 valley cover, but I'm obviously still having some oil get through. What do you guys think, is this more than what should be expected?

I'm running it from the valley cover nipple, through the can, to the intake nipple on the driver's side. Driver's valve cover is plugged, passenger valve cover goes to the throttle body nipple. I'm pretty sure all the oil is coming from the catch can route, because there was almost no residue on the tb blade. I do have my valve cover baffles removed, but again, if that were an issue, I think I'd be seeing oil on the tb blade. I wish I had the cash for a vacuum pump.

I have the can hooked up the right way, valley cover to top of can, side of can to intake. I also forgot to mention that I have a see-through fuel filter inline after the can, before the intake. It gets pretty dirty, so it's obvious the can is still letting vapor through. I'm thinking maybe I should try one of these "RevXtreme" cans which have a check valve.
