well I just bought an 06 lq4 engine and now am trying to decide what to do to gain performance it appears that the truck intake flows pretty well so il keep it but what else would you do as far as a cam and milling heads to gain compression or maybe head gaskets that are thinner? then what about the stock tb and injectors? any info on how to gain some power out of this thing that wont be breaking the bank will be great thanks!

I would put some worked 5.3 heads on the motor and add a cam to match. Contact any of the vendors for a recommendation on the cam weather it be an off the shelf grind or a custom deal.
