Seller says the body has 140k, engine rebuild/mods have 25k. The body is in pretty good shape, same with the interior. It's not a museum piece, but nice. Say the coolant dummy light is on because the sensor is bad, it's not leaking coolant.
My biggest concern is that the owner says he's only owned it a few months and has to sell it because the cosigner on his loan backed out and the bank is now forcing the sale? Seems a bit strange to me. He's also dropped the price from $9500 to #7200 in a matter of 2.5 weeks.
He says that it runs great, no issues with it, says it's very streetable. I just don't want to buy someone elses problem.

Now on to the car... I would walk away. That is a lot of miles and a lot of mods. You can pretty much guarantee that car has been driven hard. Couple that with the "story" about the bank forcing a sale and all I see are red flags. Hold onto your money until something better comes along. I just saw a 1999 T/A sell for $8000 with one original owner (little old lady) and only 59,000 miles on the clock. Smoking hot deals are out there, you just have to be patient and willing to spend the time looking for them.
