I'm new to the hole nitrous thing and read alot but not sure what to get ?

First off my car has 160k will nitrous kill my motor ?

the cars pretty much all stock it's a 2000 ss with headers and exhaust

Looking to spend $500-$600 on a kit that has everything I need , nitrous . Purge, plugs and window switch could it be done ?

What would u say I should do or get

If you would like to get close to that price range and not sacrifice quality then our Brand X Single nozzle for LSX runs 499.99 for the system. Those accessories should end up around $280 for the plugs, purge and TPS/Window Switch. If you're buying new I would expect to end up closer to $1000 doing it all right. How are you planning to pull timing out?

Im kind of new to the nitrous world as well but I've got a few buddies that are knowledgeable on it and I've been bugging them with questions and what not. I definitely wouldn't do a big shot on a stock high mile motor. You can find kits on ebay that have almost everything for 400. I don't know if that comes with a window switch or not. From what I've heard you can run a 100 dry shot w/o tuning safely.

Nitrous is a great cost effective way of making power. There is no other mod you could make a 150 hp or more for a 1000 to 1500 dollars. However the guys that seem to think they are going to make great reliable power for under 500.00 and skip tuning usually end up spending thousands building a new motor due to trying to be cheap and half assing it.

To do this right using quality used components your going to spend at least 600-800 and you still need tuned.
