Default New project! 69 Camaro LS1 / 4l60 swap

Hey all! Just picked up my dream car last weekend. I've always wanted a 69 Camaro, and finally found one that's already a good solid start! Pretty much all new sheet metal, ls1/4l60 from a 99 Firehawk, Foose 18" wheels, tubular a arms, f body disc brakes...

And the work begins....

Be careful with that nice paint job when you put it back together

Nice car! Looks like someone did a lot of work to that before loosing interest, or needing to sell. Body work is some of the most labor intensive work, so it should be smooth sailing from where you're starting. Good luck with it.

Very Nice! I too acquired my car as an unfinished project...mine was quite bit further along. While I am not an expert..I'll help with any advice along the way. I need to update my build progress. I just completed a 4th gen fuel bucket swap...few more interior updates...

Love the color!

Excellent start. Good find. Do yourself a favor with the time you saved with body work and paint. Get urself a new set of shoes on it. Those wheels are hideous. My opinion of course.

Good luck

I don't mind the wheels, but if you keep them, you have to lower it and that will probably call for it to be tubbed. I know those don't have deep rear wheel wells.

But you're pretty much doing many, many techer's dream build. Good luck!
