Default What are my true limits?

I've been doing my research but I'm still confused about one thing.

I'm building my m6 car, the plans are a motor out of a 99 ws6, 243 heads hand ported by me, ms3 cam and I'd like to spray a 150 to it with a target of 550-600 rwhp on spray. Will it hold up? I see some do it, and others say no way it'll work. The short block is stock. I'm just trying to get a good answer. Do I stick with a 100 shot and forget about a 150?By the way, the motor has 160k on it and uses no oil.

Thanks everyone.

I think you're going to be running out of fuel pump with the cam + 150 shot. And with it having 160K miles, I'd probably stick with a 75/100 shot, but you'll need to get your car on the dyno or at least put a wideband on it to see where the AF ratio is at.

Honestly, if it were me. I'd spray whatever the AF ratio allowed, but at the same time i'd be putting money back for a forged setup+ standalone. Your on borrowed time, but then again..... aren't we all.

Good luck buddy!

I'm on my phone and can't see my sig. But I just did a racetronix last weekend. So I should be good on the pump. The miles is what I was worries about, but il have so little more motor that its a throw away type of deal if I throw a rod through the block

Thanks for the help

Your good. Put a BR7EF plug in it, remove the timing and dial in the air fuel.

Go for it. I made over 500rwhp on a stock 150k short block and a 150shot.

Cool. I'll give it a go. I was really considering doing a lq4 instead of the ls1.
