Default True Dual setup question

Is this necessary for the fabrication? Does it make it any easier? I will be installing Kooks 1 7/8 stepped 2" headers. I have a 3" X and 16" x 4" resonators, and quad tips. I want the exhaust to come out of the back so will I need this. I have an adjustable panhard bar now. I have purchased from founders before and they have decent products.
