Default 1x cam gear in 58x motor.. what to do?

So I just put together a motor and went to fire it up. well it starts but throws a cam sensor code. Looked at my invoice and it looks like I put a 1x cam gear in the motor that had a 4x in it originally. It was an 06 Ls2.

Anyone know of a way to make that work or do I have to change the gear to a 4x like what came in the motor

Well.. I'm just thinking aloud here, but if the PCM is expecting a 4x signal, you're going to need a 4x cam gear swapped in there or the PCM has no way to interpret cam position relative to the crank.

BTW, what PCM are you using? IIRC, some of the aftermarket units (AEM?) allow you to switch sensor input types.

You'll need the 4x cam gear and the Lingenfelter converter box to convert it from 58x to 24x
