Hey guys. I went to this body shop here in clarksville tn and they installed my CME and painted it SOM... Here are some pics. Tell me if this looks fucked up. I was so unhappy the guy didnt charge me. Let me know what you think, im looking around to get quote for another shop that can fit it better.

No i have not. Im going to let this next body shop decide if its just fitment issues or just plain laziness from the first shop. Im not putting any blame on 6LE just a shitty body shop. on the 8th its going to get worked on some more. Then we will see. If its just plane jacked up ill talk to 6LE. Im pretty happy with the Valance in General. The second body shop why was surprised on how crappy it was put on. So before I start pointing fingers ill have someone else give it at try.

Definitely looks applied, taken off and reapplied without retaping. Sorry to see this. However, looks like an easy fix. If you just get 3M double sided tape (buying from Staples it comes in bigger rolls and is cheaper) and reinstall all should be fine...
Just make sure you scuff the place were the tape was on the valance (after removing the tape and cleaning with a solvent like prep sol) with a scotch brite pad and then clean with solvent again. Shouldn't need to scuff the bumper, cleaning with solvent should be enough.

I'd also use an adhesive promoter. The double sided tape will stick much better. Makes a big difference. But I agree with 6LE - not too difficult to fix, with the only hard part being cleaning off all the old double sided tape.

Damn that sucks. I would be pissed as hell too! I was afraid of this happening too when I dropped my car off at a shop. I repeatedly told them that it should be attached at the lowest possible point on the bumper. Lucky they nailed it perfectly. Tips were jacked though.
It looks like they installed it way to high on the bumper. It should be an easy fix! Glad they did not charge you! Hope everything works out man.

Man I would be happy as hell to get a free paint job on my valance regardless of the shitty job they did attaching it...
Sucks you either dont have the time or patience because you could have fixed it yourself and saved some cash, I definitely would not have taken it to another body shop.
Good luck with the new shop and definitely post more pics afterwards.

Pay attention to the thicknesses of the double stick table you use also. Some of it is thicker which will make your valance stick off more and look goofy.
I stuck a CF splitter on my benz front bumper with some tape from loctite. It was stupid sticky, a little thinner than the 3M stuff, and clear as well. Worth the few extra bucks.
