2011 WRX vs 2002 C5 Z06
Did a pull with my friends stage 2 bolt on WRX. My Z06 is bone stock
Z06 - 364rwhp on a Mustang Dyno
WRX - 327whp on a Dynojet
I started off in 3rd gear at 55mph which is a bad spot in the power band. I should have started in 2nd. Also, I had a passenger and the WRX did not. Pulls were 55 - 120mph. I'm surprised the WRX kept up as good as it did. Although it would have been worse if I was in the right gear.
All runs were done on a closed course

I heard that the ls6 loses torque with the 1 7/8. Im planning on an A&A kit after bolt ons. Probably should have went with the bigger headers. Oh well

I would def do the 1 7/8" no ls will lose torque with the 1-7/8 thats been proven time and time again. The only way a 1-7/8 will get out performed on a vette is with the lg super comps, and thats because the lg's are much longer than any other lt's. if your not going lg then i would do the 1-7/8

I'll be going back for another baseline dyno and then some bolt ons so i'll see if the numbers were a fluke or not.

Them mustang dunos can be embarrasing, i have a good stout car but on the Heartbreaker mustang dyno only pulled 406 RWHP on the motor. However, Not as bad as a guy i seen come in had a built mustang claiming 350+ to the tires, he pulled like 289 RWHP..

Its a loaded Mustang dyno. The owner of the shop was surprised at the numbers. The car on the dyno before me was a 2013 GT500 all stock and it put down 540whp. However, I have seen them do close to 600whp on a dynojet.
