Default Cam Swap and Coolant Question

I hope I am posting in the correct section

Over the July 4th weekend, I will be performing a cam swap. In doing so, I need to drain the coolant from the radiator etc.

Question, is there any harm in leaving the radiator and engine completely empty of coolant for an extended period of time say 2 months?

The reason I am asking is I will also be doing a head change but do not have the heads yet.

Thanks,

Q

Nope. I would stuff a paper towel in the holes or cover them with tape; so bugs and debris cant make it into the engine or radiator. No better way to celebrate Americas Independence!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope, no issue other then possibly getting something in it.
