Default New Vacuum Pump Installed

Hey guys,
I don't post on here too often, I do more reading than anything, but I was so happy with the GZ motorsports vacuum pump I had to share. I got the LSX Super Pro pump and customized it a little. This kit does come complete and is very very easy to install and setup/tune. Heres a pic, let me know what you guys think.

No power numbers with. I'm up in Alaska where the dyno's are limited to only one, ironically enough I used to own it, but after I sold it I refuse to pay to use it lol. I will say idle quality while warming up and while warm, returning to idle and rapid throttle transitions are much more tame, feels stronger and revs smoother. The only draw back to the pump kit is the price, but every piece of the kit is of very high quality and worth every cent IMO. I have a fast 102 on a 370 cube iron block with a decent size cam, so my idle quality wasn't the best, but with the pump, it's great! Finally got it to idle smooth below 900 rpm

Do you guys have a kit that mounts the vac pump where the A/C compressor would go? Thats where I want to mount one when I have the money to do so.

Yes the pulley comes with the kit, there is an option to buy a manual tensioner which I have but didn't install when picture was taken.

GZ kits fit with AC. We don't currently have a application that goes in the AC slot. You might be ablew to make it work though. GZ kits include everything you need to install them.

looks like a nice vac pump kit .is that a modified stock smog pump ,or is it a after market machined pump ?how much vacuum dose the pump pull ?I feel it is best not to break in a engine with a vacuum pump .I have modified stock GM smog pumps for Vacuum pumps.I think some one could use the stock electric smog pump from 98-00 F-bodies for a vacuum pump .

I'd like to know what a set-up like that would net someone like me. I'm already running a SD tune and ditched the AC a LONG time ago....

Also, is that the Sportsman or the Super Pro kit?

It's the super pro. They have all the info on the site and if you call them, they will guide you to buying the correct pump for your apication.

You can fit AC but it is very tight. I also had to pull the cruise control.
