Default Chevelle horseshoe to 4l60e

Anyone done the LS 4l60e swap and used their Chevelle horseshoe shifter? I have the kit from Shiftworks but I am trying to figure out how to connect the original neutral switch arm to the 4l60e. On the original 350 turbo the arm came out the the steering column and down to the trans with a bracket bolted to the frame. Thanks for any information.

I think I might buy a horseshoe mounted neutral switch like came on most of the SS model Chevelles (Mine came from the factory with the consol shifter but with the column safety switch). Just need to know how to make it work with the 4l60e.

You should be able to mount the 350 turbo arm on the 4l60e, then depending on where your transmission is mounted in relation to where it was stock, just lengthen or shorten the rod. SS's should also have the linkage going to the column since that's what was used for locking the shifter when the column was locked.

These are pretty easy to use.
