Default lq9 s10 rear mount turbo

hi I have a 91 s10 with a bone stock lq9. I was looking to do a blow thro setup and do a rear mount. I don't know what size turbo to get. I was planning on running 6 to 10 psi. the truck has a 750hp carb 700r4 2500 stall short tube headers and 373 gears. I am looking for a turbo that starts making boost at 2500 to 3000 cause my motor only makes power to 5800. I plan on driving the truck on the street. this is not going to be a race truck just a fun truck to drive on the weekend.

If you are only planning to turn 5,800rpms a tc76 would work really good. If you plan to turn any more than that you will need a bigger exhaust wheel. I have a s10 with a lq4 and a rear mounted mp70 running 10psi and it pulls strong to about 5,600. The mp70 doesn't give you much room to grow as it will max out at about 575rwhp on a 6.0L. The tc76 should be able to make 650+ as long as you keep the rpms under 5,800. Your next step up would be a 76/75. I would stay away from anything bigger than a tc76 being a rear mount though or it will be laggy. Make sure you put some good valve springs in it too.

I agree a little TC would be great but put it in the front where it belongs.
