Default Procharger LSX transplant guys, need help

I finally got to the point this weekend to put the belt on my blower. This is a F1A kit in a 71 nova. My issue is the belt is going to rub the water pump pulley i'm afraid. It's a 06 GTO pump. For those running this, what pump did you use ? Does anyone see something i'm missing? This is my first go round with something like this and I just want to be sure it's right.

I called Procharger today and they said the kit looked like it calls for a F-body ls1 pump. I googled images of it and it looks to ME to be the same big pulley. Any help would be appreciated.

The belt has been put on and the engine hasn't been run obviously, so the alignment may be off.

I just ran into that problem with mine. You have a couple options...you could run a smaller crank pulley (would lower boost) or you could do a remote mount water pump. I did the later.

You can see in this pic, I was trying to use Meziere's race pump. I am using a 77 tooth crank pulley and the belt was hitting it.

I moved to this

Another vote for the C6 water pump. It flows better, and clears the belt with no issues.

I'll pick one of the vette pumps up and see what happens. Thanks for everyones help. All the other acc. are based off the f-body it says, so will the serpentine belt line up with the smaller pulley?

The Vette pump works with the Aster bracket, which is for the F Body and the F Body accessories. The pulley is moved forward 11/32 to get the alignment correct. http://shop.brutespeed.com/Aster-Aut...er-Bracket.htm Bob
