My sarcasm detector is on overload. Isn't a terminator about 500-600lbs heavier than a C5Z? If so that's not nearly enough to explain for the small margin of victory here given the power difference.

Every 100lbs is worth a 10th in the 1/4, plus the C5Z has better aerodynamics. Off topic but are you gonna finish the video of the all out call out op? The suspense has been killing me lol.

You and me both! They don't weigh THAT much for how slow they are compared to other cars when you look at horsepower differences. It seems like it takes a solid 100hp advantage for a Terminator to keep up with a C5/C6 in a race.

It takes a solid 70Rwhp for a Cobra/C5Z to be a good race.. Takes 80+Rw for the Cobra to pull it.
Granted there are exceptions but that is a good average to go by.
If the Z was making 430Rw... And the Cobra was making 620Rw.. That is only a 190Rw difference.
Meaning... It is only going to pull it like it is making 120HP more.. Which was about right for the video.
But yes.. I would be a tad irritated if my 600+Rw car was even within 5 car lengths on a cam only C5Z.
