Default A tire thread I haven't seen or heard of yet

So is anyone on here running the Kumho 295/35/17 tires. I just found out that such a tire was made just a few minutes ago but when you google it I didn't see barely a single picture with them mounted.

Are you looking at the ECSTA MX? I've never used these. Always been curious how they perform and it's tough to tell because the reviews I've read seem mixed.

No I believe they were called the ecsta xs. I know they got to fit on our cars because I saw a thread on another site where a guy was running them on his TA

The MX were the old tires and were pretty good in the dry and horrendous in the rain. The XS are supposed to be a step up all the way around.

I had Kumho SPT on my Nissan and they came apart - tread separated from the tube. Good air pressure and a lot of tread left. So, I don't know if they make a crap tire or not, but I won't be buying anymore of them.

The xs are supposed to be an awesome autocross tire, and mediocre in the rain, going off what I've read about them. Was planning on picking up a set next time the Formula needs tires(which is soon).

I'm running 245/45/18's on my Monte Carlo. I haven't had any issues with them at all. I'm on my second set after about 45,000 miles. The first set were Kumho Ecsta LX platinum and this second set is Kumho ASX. They only have a 30,000 mile life so when I wear these out I will be switching brands. They were relatively quiet and have great wet and dry traction.
