Default 4th gear problems only when going WOT

So i have a consistent problem with the 3-4 shift in my car under WOT only. I have zero issues when casually driving or under light load from 3-4. Im trying to figure out if its a syncro or fork issue... I have a monster level 2 clutch with oem hydraulics with the drill mod. Kind of has me lost because the car shifts perfect except under WOT

While doing a 2-4 gear pull last night I was able to get into 4th... However, I got locked into the gear and had to shut the car off in order to put it in neutral... Any ideas on 4th gear problems?

Had the exact same issue with my car. took the tranny out to find out my clutch and pressure plate were both shot, on another note my pilot bearing blew up i and he shaft was floating back and forth by 1/4" i would check the pilot bearing.

Pilot bearing would cause trouble in all gears. How much power are you making 455GTO?

Right at 460whp and 412tq. This issue is only when trying to shift into 4th under heavy load... All other gears shift perfect. But what is weird to me is when Im just cruising around, 4th gear is smooth as can be...

May just be that synchro/gear as the clutch can't choose which gears it's going to work for, how does the pedal feel and what fluid do you use?

Pedal feels great and im using brand new hydraulics as well. I use wilwood 600+ fluid and always keep it flushed... This is the best fluid ive ever used. Just sucks that all gears except 4th i can bang through... I assume a tear down is the only way to really figure out if its internal. Might just do a trans fluid change and see if that helps any.

Hmm, sounds like hydraulics are in good shape. Hopefully trans fluid flush will help, goodluck.
