Default Bbk off road y to hooker cat back????

What are my options on mating the two together since they are both 3" and are the same size? I can't find any pictures on this. Any help would be great, I am running a bbk y pipe into a hooker cat back on a 02 ss.

thanks

Have a exhaust shop flare both ends on a 4"-6" long piece of 3" pipe up to fit over 3". Then weld one end to the Y pipe and band clamp the other end to the catback.

Or use a band clamp. I've done that with success on 3" to 3" Y-pipe to I-pipe connections I've had on various systems.

Have the I-pipe from the hooker cat-back slightly expanded to fit over the bbk Y-pipe exit then put a clamp on it.

get a 3" id/od coupler and clamp it and youre good to go. not cutting/opening/headaches.

IMO, a good exhaust shop will have no problem slightly expanding the I-pipe inlet to fit over the BBK y-pipe exit, or just expanding a short piece of scrap 3" tubing to fit over both.
