RPM transmissions vs. Performabuilt transmissions Im building an LS3 418 86 Z28 and im looking to have the best bang for my buck transmission to match that motor. Im gunna also have all that power going to a Moser 9" with 4.11s. Im estimating anywhere from 550-625 hp. What company has better rep better customer service any info could help! Thanks guys!

I went with RPM for my Camaro. Jeremy Jones fully took care of me and I was so impressed with their service I had them install it as well. They gave me a sweet deal on a military discount and if you're went with a precision vigilante like I did, Precision will ship it straight to them! They let you do full tours of the shop and you can check out what goes on behind the scenes. Very curteous staff. Now lets get to business. I picked up a Level V from them and couldn't be happier. Car drives like stock but since they put in shift kits automatically, the shifts are firmer and faster. Overdrive not affected at all and I absolutely am 100% satisfied. Install looks clean and professional. No monkey business. I have gone to them again and again for other Fbody odds and ends and they have only exceeded expectations. My car has stock engine, lid, headers, slp ram intake (low) ,ss hood, full suspension, relocated lca, Moser 9", 4.11 gears . 11.78 is cars best run. Another excellent thing about RPM is that if you for whatever reason need to upgrade, they will take care of you! Bad *** service, excellent price and if its one thing I know, I like to have peace of mind when I decide to press that skinny pedaldum. I also went through them for my Moser 9" and they definitely hooked me up! Do a search on these forums. RPM all the way!

We use RPM Transmissions whenever we need a transmission or differential upgraded (whether it's for a customer's vehicle or our shop race cars). Their work is top notch and their customer service is even better. You can't go wrong with RPM!

Contact Jeremy at RPM. He helped me with my corvette build. He tailored the transmission and differential build to fit my needs and always made time to answer any questions I had. Not to mention the turn around on the build was 1 week! Trans and diff are still holding up even on the spray

Without a doubt, RPM. Their customer service is hands down the best I have ever experienced. Their transmissions are amazingly strong too. Call Jeremy (he may hit on you if you're a dude) and he will take great care of you.

I was on the fence as well a couple of years ago ... and went with the RPM. I absolutely love it. This is on my `99 TA that just hit 250,000 miles. It's a very robust transmission.... and apparently well built.

Just wanting to chime in here as I have ran an RPM Transmission in all of my own personal cars as well as all of my customers cars, and have been very happy with the products RPM distributes as well as the customer support before and after the purchase. If you ever have any technical questions they are willing to help, and will even go the extra mile to make you happy in the event something was to ever go wrong. They back all of their products and are constantly striving to bring us newer redesigned Better built products through various testing procedures. Both on the track as well as transmission dynoing. If you are considering a Built Transmission that will hold what you wanna throw at it, go with an RPM unit and save yourself the hassle of dealing with it later. Like I said, I run them and all of my customers run them. Just my honest oppinion, but I found out the hard way cheaper isnt always better. 5 different builders later I finally found a shop who can make a trans hold and perform flawlessly.
