Default How easily should the input spin in neutral?

This is my first time setting end play on a t56 and I've decided to go 0.00 on the main and countershaft. After getting the case buttoned up I've noticed in neutral it takes a decent amount of force to turn the shaft in neutral and I have to hold the output shaft with a pair of pliers. Is the preload higher than I think? This is a m12 Gto t56 if that matters with that 4th gear synchro. Thanks for the help.

I should add that the trans spins easily when in gear but just takes a bit to move the input while holding the output shaft with vice grips while in neutral.
